STREET DOGS RETURN TO STUDIO FOR "RABBLE ROUSING" NEW ALBUM

Punk rock proponents for social justice, Street Dogs, have announced plans to return to the studio in February to record their fifth studio album and follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2008 Hellcat debut State of Grace. The band will be recording with bassist Johnny Rioux as producer and Rick Barton (original Dropkick Murphys guitarist) co-producing at the infamous punk rock studio the Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado which was built by members of Descendents, All and Black Flag.

Punk rock runs deep in the veins of Street Dogs, with former Dropkick Murphys singer Mike McColgan's uncompromising lyrics alongside bassist Johnny Rioux, guitarists Marcus Hollar and Tobe Bean III and drummer Paul Rucker's fist pumping street punk anthems. The band burst onto the scene in 2002 and has released a string of classic albums including 2008's State of Grace, which critics called "a raucous and purposeful working man's ride" (Dallas Morning News) with "the kind of political streak rarely heard since the Clash" (Cleveland Scene).

After incessant tours around the world alongside bands like The Offspring, Alkaline Trio, Anit-Flag, Reverend Horton Heat and headlining tours in US and UK in support of State of Grace, Street Dogs will enter the studio in February ready to shake the system and rally the people like never before on their fifth studio album.

"Every time we go into the studio we are trying to make our finest record," says McColgan. "So on February ninth when we enter the Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado that is the goal to make our best record. Also this record will be more of a rabble rousing punk record than our previous records and have more of an edge and an attack on it. We will work to all of our strengths on this effort and we are very excited to have Rick Barton co-producing the record."

"Our next and fifth record will capture the purest form of the band to date," adds Rioux. "We are making it as if it were our first record. The punk and hardcore songs will be MORE punk and hardcore. Our Celtic influence and songs will be more Celtic, the folk, folkier and so on. It's almost as if we are making records in the reverse of most bands. Ending up back at square one, and square one never sounded better. Basically, we want to make our new favorite record."

Boston punk stalwarts Street Dogs are set to roar into the holiday season with a joyful slew of mayhem inducing, beer toasting “Wreck the Halls” shows guaranteed to warm the hearts of young and old punks alike alongside Roger Miret & The Disasters and Stigma. Fronted by original Dropkick Murphy singer, war veteran and Boston firefighter turned pub rock legend, Mike McColgan, Street Dogs will be playing a traditional set of energetic Irish American chestnuts perfect for rousing holiday sing alongs and celebratory circle pits. What better way to welcome in the New Year than with a set of freshly ringing eardrums care of Street Dogs raucous socially charged punk anthems? The band will be joined on selected date by notorious guitar wielding heathen Reverend Horton Heat.

Street Dogs will be teaming up with Marines representing the Toys For Tots (http://www.toysfortots.org) Organization to collect new, unwrapped toys for children in need on every date of the Wreck the Halls tour.

NEKROMANTIX ON TOUR WITH ROB ZOMBIE

Revered psychobilly trio Nekromantix will be taking their hellacious stage show on the road, joining horror-rock legend Rob Zombie for a cross country spree of mayhem and menace on the Hellbilly Deluxe 2 Tour starting October 29. The tour will also feature Captain Clegg & the Night Creatures last seen rocking a murderous Michael Myers in the recent drive-in classic “Halloween II.”

Fronted by flattopped bandleader Kim Nekroman and his beloved coffin bass, the Nekromantix and their furious sinister sound will help ignite this depraved rock and roll freak show as it detonates in the heat scorched metropolis of Phoenix on October 29th, before rocking the fleshpots of Las Vegas and descending on the decadent streets of Hollyweird and beyond.

While many fans mourned the cancellation of band’s anticipated Halloween shows with Horrorpops, the trio promises to more than make up for it with a ghoulish once-in-a-lifetime Halloween extravaganza at the legendary Hollywood Palladium. From there, Nekromantix and their fiendish cohorts will careen across the United States leaving a path of shredded creepers and ringing ear drums before retiring to the darkened confines of a recording studio to create a follow up to their absolutely devastating album Life Is a Grave & I Dig It!

STREET DOGS WRECK THE HALLS & FUN FUN FUN FEST

That’s Right Ladies & Gentlemen - Street Dogs have announced details for their 5th Annual Wreck The Halls punk extravaganza in Boston, MA in December and a ton of new tour dates in both the U.S. & Europe! The band will be ringing in the holidays in their hometown with two very special shows at the Paradise. “Night One” on December 19th will feature NYC street punk stalwarts Roger Miret & The Disasters; Stigma, the new project from Agnostic Front guitar player Vinny Stigma; and Dorchester-raised singer songwriter, Bryan McPherson. Street Dogs will be joined on ”Night Two” on December 20th, by Boston natives Far From Finished and The Snipes, as well as Buddha & The Boys, featuring Buddha from Blood For Blood. Tickets for both shows are on sale at LiveNation.com or at the Paradise box office for no additional ticketing service charges. Make sure to check these shows out!

The band will also be making appearances at several US festivals throughout the summer and fall including the Dublin Irish Festival in Dublin, OH; the Seattle Tattoo Expo; the Irish 2000 Festival in Saratoga, NY; and the punk-infused Riot Fest in Chicago, IL. The band will be rounding out the year in the US with a handful of West Coast dates with punkabilly legends Reverend Horton Heat.

Street Dogs will also be crossing the Atlantic in October with Hellcat label-mates Civet for a full UK and European tour in support of their latest release, State of Grace. The 20 date tour which begins on October 14th in Berlin, Germany is the Street Dogs’ first headlining tour after their hugely successful stint on last year’s Eastpak-sponsored Antidote Tour.

(August 26, 2009) As they round out a nearly 4-month tour throughout North America, Europe and Japan in support of their latest album IV (Hellcat), The Aggrolites show no signs of slowing down. They are one of only 13 acts hand-selected by Vans Warped Tour creator Kevin Lyman for the upcoming 15th Anniversary Celebration. The Aggrolites, 3OH!3, All-American Rejects, Bad Religion, blink-182, The Decaydance All Stars, Ice T, Katy Perry, NoFX, Ozomatli, Pennywise, Rise Against and Underoath will all perform at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on September 6. This will be filmed for a special event to air in more than 460 movie theaters on Thursday, September 17, at 8pm ET, 7pm CT, 8pm PT (tape delay). This two-hour spectacular will feature performance highlights, red carpet clips and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. The Aggrolites have just added a U.S. fall tour with shows on the West Coast, Southwest and Midwest that also includes two festivals. The musical-romantic comedy Bandslam, released August 14, 2009, features The Aggrolites hit “Free Time.” Bandslam follows an unlikely group of teenagers with a shared love of music who form a rock group and perform in the battle of the bands competition at their high school. THE AGGROLITES are more than a band – they are a movement unto themselves. They carry a banner – one created with their own hands.
