STREET DOGS RETURN TO STUDIO FOR "RABBLE ROUSING" NEW ALBUM

STREET DOGS RETURN TO STUDIO FOR "RABBLE ROUSING" NEW ALBUM

Punk rock proponents for social justice, Street Dogs, have announced plans to return to the studio in February to record their fifth studio album and follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2008 Hellcat debut State of Grace. The band will be recording with bassist Johnny Rioux as producer and Rick Barton (original Dropkick Murphys guitarist) co-producing at the infamous punk rock studio the Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado which was built by members of Descendents, All and Black Flag.

Punk rock runs deep in the veins of Street Dogs, with former Dropkick Murphys singer Mike McColgan's uncompromising lyrics alongside bassist Johnny Rioux, guitarists Marcus Hollar and Tobe Bean III and drummer Paul Rucker's fist pumping street punk anthems. The band burst onto the scene in 2002 and has released a string of classic albums including 2008's State of Grace, which critics called "a raucous and purposeful working man's ride" (Dallas Morning News) with "the kind of political streak rarely heard since the Clash" (Cleveland Scene).

After incessant tours around the world alongside bands like The Offspring, Alkaline Trio, Anit-Flag, Reverend Horton Heat and headlining tours in US and UK in support of State of Grace, Street Dogs will enter the studio in February ready to shake the system and rally the people like never before on their fifth studio album.

"Every time we go into the studio we are trying to make our finest record," says McColgan. "So on February ninth when we enter the Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado that is the goal to make our best record. Also this record will be more of a rabble rousing punk record than our previous records and have more of an edge and an attack on it. We will work to all of our strengths on this effort and we are very excited to have Rick Barton co-producing the record."

"Our next and fifth record will capture the purest form of the band to date," adds Rioux. "We are making it as if it were our first record. The punk and hardcore songs will be MORE punk and hardcore. Our Celtic influence and songs will be more Celtic, the folk, folkier and so on. It's almost as if we are making records in the reverse of most bands. Ending up back at square one, and square one never sounded better. Basically, we want to make our new favorite record."

NEKROMANTIX ON TOUR WITH ROB ZOMBIE

Revered psychobilly trio Nekromantix will be taking their hellacious stage show on the road, joining horror-rock legend Rob Zombie for a cross country spree of mayhem and menace on the Hellbilly Deluxe 2 Tour starting October 29. The tour will also feature Captain Clegg & the Night Creatures last seen rocking a murderous Michael Myers in the recent drive-in classic “Halloween II.”

Fronted by flattopped bandleader Kim Nekroman and his beloved coffin bass, the Nekromantix and their furious sinister sound will help ignite this depraved rock and roll freak show as it detonates in the heat scorched metropolis of Phoenix on October 29th, before rocking the fleshpots of Las Vegas and descending on the decadent streets of Hollyweird and beyond.

While many fans mourned the cancellation of band’s anticipated Halloween shows with Horrorpops, the trio promises to more than make up for it with a ghoulish once-in-a-lifetime Halloween extravaganza at the legendary Hollywood Palladium. From there, Nekromantix and their fiendish cohorts will careen across the United States leaving a path of shredded creepers and ringing ear drums before retiring to the darkened confines of a recording studio to create a follow up to their absolutely devastating album Life Is a Grave & I Dig It!
THE AGGROLITES ANNOUNCE FALL TOUR DATES

“The Aggrolites don’t just look to the Caribbean for inspiration. Just as the band’s beloved reggae came from the dangerous streets and back alleys of Jamaica, so too did American soul and funk, emerging in the ’60s and early ’70s deep in the core of the tense cities of that chaotic era.” – Ink, KansasCity.com (August 2009)

(August 26, 2009) As they round out a nearly 4-month tour throughout North America, Europe and Japan in support of their latest album IV (Hellcat), The Aggrolites show no signs of slowing down. They are one of only 13 acts hand-selected by Vans Warped Tour creator Kevin Lyman for the upcoming 15th Anniversary Celebration. The musical-romantic comedy Bandslam, released August 14, 2009, features The Aggrolites hit “Free Time.” Bandslam follows an unlikely group of teenagers with a shared love of music who form a rock group and perform in the battle of the bands competition at their high school. It stars Vanessa Hudgens, Lisa Kudrow, Gaelan Connell and Aly Michalka. http://bandslam-movie.com/ This is yet another song added to the growing list of The Aggrolites’ movie and television music placements, which includes National Lampoon Endless Bummer, NBC’s Friday Night Lights, Nick Jr.’s Yo Gabba Gabba, MTV’s The Hills and MTV’s Nitro Circus.

THE AGGROLITES are more than a band – they are a movement unto themselves. They carry a banner – one created with their own hands. This banner reads, “Dirty Reggae,” and represents their signature fusion of reggae, soul, grit and determination. For 7 magnificent years, this dirty reggae bunch has rolled from city to city, across the pond and up main street USA. They are Jesse Wagner (vocals, lead guitar), Roger Rivas (organ), Brian Dixon (rhythm guitar) and Jeff Roffredo (bass). Out of the Los Angeles school of hard knocks, The Aggrolites have earned a Ph.D in "feel good music." On the road they educate with the thunder and punch of reggae drums and bass, the ripping, soulful melodies of the organ and guitars, and Jesse’s voice – a gift from the heavens, a perfectly intact gift from Otis, Sam, Ray and Wilson. They have toured with Social Distortion, Madness, Rancid, Flogging Molly, 311, Dropkick Murphys, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Vandals, The Skatalites, The Aquabats and Hepcat. The Aggrolites have performed at such notable events as Vans Warped Tour, Coachella, Lowlands, Fuji Rock, Bumbershoot, SXSW, CMJ, Summerjam, Sundance Film Festival, Sunset Junction, Detour Music Festival and KROQ’s Weenie Roast. Their current album, IV, was released in June 2009. IV peaked at #2 on the Billboard Reggae Charts and is currently #14, while it debuted at #110 and peaked at #60 on the Triple A CMJ Charts.
Punkabilly Creepers Sign To Hellcat Records With Plans To Release New Album In October

August 26, 2009 – Los Angeles, CA. – Hellcat Records is proud to announce the signing of Canada’s loudest psychobilly punkrock band The Creepshow, and plans to release the band’s second album Run For Your Life, for the first time ever in the US, on October 27.

Lock your doors, turn out the lights and say your prayers because The Creepshow is back with a fiendishly fresh new joint that’ll leave you trembling and begging for more. A follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut, Sell Your Soul, Run for Your Life delivers 10 country-tinged punk rock shockers straight from the underworld. From mournful rock n’ rollers to scream-along boot stompers to raging punk fueled anthems, this record will cure what ails you. The infamous Steve Rizun (Protest The Hero, The Flatliners, Ill Scarlett) returns to the producer’s chair to capture the intensity and energy that has made The Creepshow a worldwide cult sensation, offering it all up in an ear-scorching orgy of sonic bliss.

Gasp in terror as the seductive Sarah SIN lures you into her web of heartbreak, betrayal and revenge with her sultry and entrancing vocals. Dance to the primal rhythms of the nefarious Sick Boy on upright beater -bass and the devilish Matt Pomade on his demonic skins. Kneel at the altar of the Reverend McGinty as he converts the masses with his hypnotic and dastardly hellspawned keys.

Formed in 2005, The Creepshow have already shared the stage with now-labelmates Tiger Army, Rancid and The Unseen, and by teaming up the world’s premiere pyschobilly/punk label, Hellcat Records, their ghoulish potential is limitless.

Dare to delve into the dark and alluring world that is The Creepshow this fall when they tour the US just in time for the year’s most sinister celebration.
